Mayra Rodriguez grew up in Le Mars, Iowa. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degrees at St. Luke’s College in Sioux City, Iowa. As a nurse she worked in the Intensive Care Unit and a hospitalist nurse coordinator at Unity-Point St. Luke’s, she also worked at the Vascular and Vein Institute of Siouxland. She pursued her Master’s degree in nursing through Briar Cliff University. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and began her career as a nurse practitioner with CNOS.
Mayra has two children, Stella and Lucas, with her husband Tim. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, being outdoors, and going to the gym.
